Beautiful art exposition I highly encourage the guided tour

Special, only a long walk.

It's not a literal museum, it's a neighborhood that has been embellished with many street art projects by this organization. The visit then is a booked walking tour (book it since there is no guarantee there will be someone available to show you around without notice). The projects are very beautiful and the tour explains nicely the artists behind them, their styles, motivations and how the projects were they developed with nice insights on the local community.

A lot of walking involved so be prepared, probably need about two hours. Strongly recommend spending some time at the headquarters and taking a guide as the biggest reason for coming here should be the background and not the art itself.

The best tour I've done here in Amsterdam during my holiday.

The museum organizes a daily "walk in" tour at a fixed time. For a surcharge you can also book a Private tour only for you and your group at a different time. You can also book customized workshops and packages. When you book a private tour or workshop the curator takes into account your wishes and interests in order to make the visit to SAMA as interesting as possible. I have booked a tour with my design team: The tour was very fun and meaningful for us because there was extra attention for the techniques used and how the street art movement influenced graphic design.

Quiet and good service

Worth alone the flight to Amsterdam. The tour is fascinating and funny while teaching a lot about street art and the neighbours of Amsterdam.

Private tour with explanations in French of the various works commissioned by the museum to international artists with different styles. Living museum because the works are ephemeral because replaced with the time (about 2 to 3 years). Here are some pictures just to make you want to go there. I removed a star because I did not think I had to walk so much and I come out of a lumbago .. I suffered. It would be necessary to propose the tour by bike (to propose the paying option for 5 euros maxi). I removed the second star because it's a bit long. We can divide the private tour by two (but suddenly it's a bit expensive 30 euros)
