Named for the corresponding article of the U.S. Constitution establishing the structure of Congress, newly renovated Article One – American Grill is conveniently situated in the airy atrium lobby of Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill. Our restaurant is open daily for power breakfast, energizing lunch, and relaxing dinner. Breakfast features Hyatt's signature breakfast menu, in addition to a daily breakfast buffet. For lunch, enjoy a selection of creative soups, salads, sandwiches and grilled entrees. Dinner provides an upscale grill menu, featuring Certified Angus Beef steaks, chops, and sustainable seafood. Generous side dishes and a selection of desserts pair nicely with the grill menu. Indulge in seasonal flavors and signature cocktails on Capitol Hill. Two private dining rooms are available to be reserved for up to 12 guests, or the rooms can be combined for up to 24 guests.

Great hotel restaurant! Usually hotel restaurants are just eh. Appreciate the interesting menu with some organic and local ingredients... and even a sustainable catch of the day dish. Enjoyed the fluffy omelet, crispy hash browns and cheese plate for room service.

Breakfast buffet is excellent - lots of variety, moderate price (don't miss that $25 off $50 dining coupon they offer with hotel reservation!), comfortable location right in the main lobby of the hotel.Pre-cooked scrambled eggs/bacon are hit or miss - were great one morning, but barely warm on another. Still, there is an omelet station - get it cooked to your specs right in front of you.Coffee is consistently good. Plenty of cold cuts, pastries and fresh fruit.Haven't tried sausages or pancakes - but they looked/smelled good.Bagels, oatmeal, yogurt, cereals - all typical breakfast staples. You won't leave hungry.
