This is certainly one of the best place in the area. Anytime I come there I am so glad. They maintain their high standard service and the topmost level of dishes they provide. You definitely will enjoy this this restaurant. Warmly recommended.

I eat here a lot since I work right next to it. I love how their service is always fantastic and they keep the spot well organized consistently. Rates are convenient and they serve big portions.

I went there around 2pm for lunch. This restaurant had best (육계장) yukejjang in chicago area. They even had lunch special before 3pm. I only paid $5.99 for each yukejjang. Although it wasn't listed at the lunch menu special. I told couple of my friends to go. They said price was unbelievable. Please do clarify the lunch special menu. After mixing with rice on yukejjang it seemed to need just a little more soup. Please give us just a little more soup than it will be 100%. Waitress was so nice and polite. I would definitely recommend new owner arrirang restaurant.

Finally tried this place! Best Korean Barbeque I have had so far! My Mom and I shared a Seafood Pancake and an order of Bulgogi. Awesome quality and Wonderful customer service. I often feel treated in a second-class manner at other Korean Barbeque places but not here! I felt appreciated and welcomed and that made the dining experience even better! I hope to come again very soon!

My daughter and I went in to Arirang for the first time today around 1:30pm. It was more then we expected. Very polite and attentive waitresses. Lots of side dishes. We couldnt believe how much delicious food they brought out for such a good price. The only thing I would suggest is maybe pictures on the menu or more distribution. Next time we are in the chicago area we will definitely return to this restaurant.

This is a clean, spacious restaurant with friendly and efficient staff who provide excellent service. Unfortunately, the food was extremely disappointing. The fried dumplings were funky smelling. The soondubu (soft tofu) soup was inedible because they just dumped cold tofu into the tasteless soup. All cuts of bbq/grilled meats were below average except for the marinated rib meat, which was worse than terrible because it was as tough to chew as leather shoe bits because of excessive amounts of tough cartilage and veins. All marinated meats were too sweet. The cold noodle was a bit sweet but tolerable but the problem is that it gave me a terrible indigestion (I was the only one to eat the noodle and none of my guests had indigestion). So as friendly as the staff was, I just cannot recommend this restaurant.

Pricey, be ready to spend a lot of money. Food was great! Staff was very nice, but our waitresses kept forgetting to offer us any drinks, we asked four times and we were very thirsty at this point, our foods and our meats were already cooked and handed out.

This USED to be one of our favorite restaurants. They are recently reopened after renovations. The interior does look nicer, but we didn't care for the new menu. Our favorite dish, spicy pork bulgogi, is no longer available, and they changed the recipe for the beef bulgogi. It no longer has the the savory umani flavor from the marinade, and instead of being cooked on the big table grill, it's done on a little portable burner in a pan of sorts. They then pour water over it, so it steams/boils instead of grilling. End result is meat lacking in flavor. They also served plain rice instead of the rice mixed with black beans, and only had onion in the broth instead of the zucchini, tofu, and other goodies. All in all, very plain and lacking in the bright flavors that used to stand them apart from other places. Very disappointed after waiting for them to reopen. We won't be in a hurry to go back.

Great BBQ! Tried prok belly for the 1st time & delish. Great sides & plenty. Love the new dish cilantro kimchi. Couldn't get enough, delicious! Great staff!

While the first time I went here a year ago was a wonderful experience, I will never be coming to this restaurant again. We ordered bulgogi for two, which we intended to grill. However, the waiter informed us that they would bring out a portable gas stove instead. This resulted in a weird stew-y mix of freezer-burned meat and a sparse handful of noodles. To add insult to injury, this cost a whopping $36. N o p e. I wouldn't recommend coming here.

Under new management the food and service and even atmosphere changed!!! It was super good and the food taste better than ever. I cant wait to try more items on menu!!

The food is regularly well prepared and yummy, workers gives excellent customer service. I like the cleanliness and mood. Highly recommended.

Really authentic place. Plus the lady who served us is super nice, she helped us divide portions and cook.
