Arepera

I miss their old location, but the food is as great as always. It no longer feels like a weekend at grandma’s after its much deserved expansion, but the food is as authentic and tasty as ever. The home made salsa makes this already great arepa even better. Did not regret the side order of fried plantains at all. This is quickly becoming my only must stop in Montreal. Love the balance of juicy meat, fresh cheese, and avocado in "La Llanera."

Arepas are good size and stuffed. Good value for the price. They also serve glutenberg beer (gluten free) which is hard to find.

Very very good food. If you've never had Venezuelaian food it's similar to mexican but with its own twist and flavors. Atmosphere is great and staff were nice and accommodating.
