Solid 4. Authentic Armenian. The location is in a small strip mall beside a Harris Teeter, so it's a bit out of place. If you havent tried I highly recommend you do. Only reason for not providing 5 stars was the lack of sides. You can only have so much salad and hummus. Enjoyed the lamb chops and chicken permeni. Grape leaves were very good too.

Food was very good! Absolutely get the grape leaves!!! Best I've ever had!!! The only thing keeping me from giving 5 stars was service was a little slow.

Our first time here. Food is delicious, place is very clean and service is one of the best we've encountered. Will definitely come back. I would suggest adding home fries and veggies as side dishes.

I have only picture of tea because it was so tasty that I forgot to do any photos of food. We ordered borsch, shish kabob and chicken cutlet. Everything was amazing!

The service was a little. The steak and pork kabobs were great. I wished they had more side items with vegetables. It was mostly rice and potato dishes.

We have visited Ararat 17 many times. The food is delicious and of excellent quality. The restaurant staff are friendly and you get a lot of food for your money. We have never left this place feeling disappointed!

10 Stars! I worked with the owner to arrange a surprise party with 30 guests. The process to coordinate the event was perfect, the food was awesome, the service impeccable, and the ambiance was great. I had a guest who is normally very tough on restaurants, but even he was impressed. I only wish I would get a commission on all those who said they would be coming back for date night.

Phenomenal food. Authentic Russian and Armenian cuisine

This was my first time and I was impressed by food quality, service and atmosphere. I am always skeptical of trying Slavic foods, because usually I can cook most of dishes at home :) but I loved this place! Ordered Beef Shawarma and Khalinki and had to take most of it home because serving platea were big :) they have lots of options for Mediterranean dishes and Armenian. They do have some Russian dishes as well, but their primary kitchen is Mediterranean. Our server, Edward was really good and answered all questions that we had in regards to menu options. This was a girls night out and we promised to ourselves to bring hubbies next time :) The interior is very beautiful and it can be a nice venue for romantic date.

Absolutely amazing. Only thing I did not like was the rice ball app. Everything else was five star.

The menu was ok. I had the vegetarian platter that had hummus, falafel, grape leaves and tabuli. There are very similar restaurants in the area that I think have better food.
