Applebee's is blaming millenials for their decline in sales (according to an article I've read from Business Insider), but I think the truth is their terrible service and low quality food is leading to their closing of multiple locations. This one is the only Lexington one left, and we once had at least 4. It took almost ten minutes before our server greeted us at the table. It took almost another ten to get our drinks from the bar. The slow and impersonal service, plus low quality food (see the celery stalk they actually served us) makes me have to beg my husband to go along with me to Applebee's. I just love their blondie dessert so much, but even that has climbed to an outrageous price of around $8.50 I think. The decor was falling apart in this place and there were crayon markings on the wall, I'm guessing a child got bored waiting twice as long as normal for their food and resorted to vandalism as a means to cope. If you crave their food, order carryout.

Good food, usually packed place... sat us next to the door and it caused the food to get cold fast.

Had a great meal with family and friends for my birthday. Food was delicious, server was attentive, and we had a great evening. There was a mix up with my son's milk and he fixed it quickly.
