Apollo Pizza

Wonderful food, atmosphere, great service.. but just a little slow the night I went - due to kitchen issues. The staff handled what may have been as bad as broken oven possibly without any guests getting noticable upset. The staff was great, but due to the issues, seemed understaffed for a Friday night, especially when they were having kitchen issues. All in all, I still really enjoyed Apollo's and will give it another shot to see if they've improved or what's new! Try the Buffalo pizza if that's your flavor -- it was GREAT!

Great food and great management. Amazing customer service!

A friend and I went, they were steadily very busy. We spent maybe 2 hours from immediate seating to taking a quick tour of the patio that wasn't open at the time then leaving. This is an awesome pizza place with a great selection of odd and unique flavors. This is NOT fast food! This is not sit down pizza hut. This is a quality restaurant with quality service. Don't believe all the "bad" reviews. Go try it out. Food IS made to order not already made waiting on you. Go have a beer and relax!

I ordered a thin holy pepperoni....it was possibly the worst pizza I have ever had...truly not even worth 1 star.....it was hard as cardboard and burnt....very burnt.. I had such high hopes. And to say the least let down..

Such a cute place! Love the decor, pizza was amazing, and the staff was friendly! It’s great to have a fresh new business in that plaza! New date night spot for sure!

The staff so friendly the food is absolutely delicious and fast. Bumps and cheese were fantastic and the green and white, pesto and feta my favorite.

The place looks great and food taste good. Service is a bit slow but staff is very friendly.

Great place to stop in for pizza and a few beers

Really enjoy the food and drinks at the Lexington location. We live in the neighborhood backing up to Apollo so it’s and easy walk for us. We’ve been about 5 times since they opened the doors. The food has been consistently good and the service has been consistently terrible. Apathetic staff, difficult to get served, no management presence. The venue is great and I hope they do well but the service is absolutely terrible.

The Lexington version of the Richmond, Kentucky based pizza chain is now open in Meadowthorpe. Great quality pizza , 15 or so beers on tap, and a large patio ( to open soon ) make for a welcome addition to the Lexington pizza scene.

Place was cool. Food looked great. Didn't like what I got but everyone I was with raved about how great theirs was.

Pizza was fine. But not worth the incredibly long wait. We were ignored when we got there, but we're seated. It was busy but not packed. Took them 10 minutes to even come to our table to get our drink order. Then pizza took forever. 2 small pizzas with 2 toppings each. When we left it was so packed in the waiting area that we could barley get out. We won't be going back.

What is the point of being open until midnight if you stop taking orders at 11:30? Called to place a carry out order at 11:36 and was told that they stop taking orders at 11:30. I live in close by but will be spending my money else where!!
