Aoki Teppanyaki

Food was decent enough for price paid. Flavors weren't overpowering and might even say bland. My issue was service. Don't know if they were too busy and/or understaffed. We didn't get sauces till well into eating our food and almost being finished. We had to ask for napkins which didn't come till after we had finished. Our table was touched probably 3 times during 2 hours. We might have had a few more drinks, but didn't get enough table visits to order. We passed on desserts thinking it would probably take too long to arrive. It was a convenient choice on short notice. Bill was $140 for 4. We had 1 drink each and a main course. We shared a serving of vegetable tempura.

Solid ramen spot in the ktown vicinity. It's not noisy and crowded like many of the other places in the area. Noodles are chewy and delicious. Service was really great, every one was attentive and responsive. I ordered the dashi ramen which was perfectly seasoned-- broth wasn't too salty but still tasty.

Me and my wife went to this restaurant looking to try something different. The place didn’t disappoint! However I gave a 3 star review due to the service. They were a little bit disorganized. We waited more that 20 to gets all the beverage of the table to served, we were only 8 people, and the chef took almost 40 minutes to get to our table. Now, here is where everything came back on track again, Pierre was an excellent chef, made us all laugh, he is excellent with children and the food was magnificent. The sizes are huge! We took home the leftover and next day, the food was even better! If you give are not demanding with the food quality/ service ratio, you will like this place. I recommend the Scallops entree!

Love coming here. Great family restaurant as well. The food is good and they also offer sushi. I love the salad that they give in the beginning of the meal. They also have Japanese soda if you like that. The food and experience is great! Unfortunately, the prices are a bit high, but you get what you pay for. I did have a bad experience here once, but that won’t stop me from going again because it wasn’t the end of the world.

This restaurant is typically large enough to fit you without too much of a wait, especially if you go at a good time in the afternoon. The aesthetic of the interior is pretty and clean. As for the food, it is good for the price. I ordered a steak hibachi meal, but wanted to go without the hibachi show, and I think that reflected in the quality of the food; it was not as good as if we had the hibachi show done, which is a shame, because it means your food suffers if you just want to have a quiet meal. That aside, they delivered the food quickly and it is was a good meal, though they give a lot of rice and vegetables for the hibachi meal, so expect that. But for a price of ~$25 for some good quality steak, veggies, and rice, you could do far worse.

The waitress Lorena have been an excellent server. The place is so good.

Not so good:Not a lot of chicken options, mainly a red meat restaurant. Pricey. Using coupons is complicated. Salad bar is very limited. Silverware was not very clean. Pros:They do have a baby changing table in the ladies room. Kids prices are good. Desserts are very tasty. They have a brunch special pricing on Sunday's.

Didn’t do the hibachi table. Ordered tuna tataki which was differently from other places - raw onions underneath strips. Still was good. Ordered the wagyu beef which I ordered medium but should have medium-rare. Food and service were good.

My server Luis T was amazing. He knew the menu to the T. And when it was time for desserts he recommended the Monaka Ice Cream specifically the green tea; the best dessert ever!

The food and service were beyond our expectations. We surely enjoyed the atmosphere of this restaurant. Superb spot to take the family out for lunch.
