Antigua Latin Inspired Kitchen

We've been here a couple times since they moved into the building on National Ave. Given the current closure of in person dining, we ordered a family menu for delivery. It was excellent, and a crazy-good value. A modest $3.50 delivery fee, and prompt delivery within 40 mins of ordering.We ordered the Cochinita Pibli Family Meal for $45. It has been enough food for several meals for our family. The pork was well-seasoned, juicy and plentiful. The tray of cilantro rice was delicious and the black beans were spot on.We also got an order of the Roasted Cauliflower & Walnut Tacos and the guacamole. Both were great. They included fresh-made torilla chips, as well as there typical welcome dish of toasted bread and a lime aoli. This meal was just the treat we needed to add some fun and enjoyment to a couped up week!

Good experience for the most part! Empanadas were okay and the main course was good. The meat was really really wet, not sure if that’s how latin american cuisine should be but it didn’t sit well with me. Great service overall!

What a lovely place on the west side of Milwaukee with years of history serving delicious Latin inspired dishes. Antigua’s new space offers a full, tropical drink menu in addition to the food which even allows for easy vegetarian and gluten-free substitutions. The portion sizes work great for sharing and a few orders easily served our group of 12. Prompt, friendly service flowed through the entire and made our visit a real pleasure. We’ll definitely be back again for large gatherings and more intimate dinners next to the beautiful open kitchen. ¡Thanks Antigua!

Love it! Fantastic Latin food. Honestly I like the old location a bit better (had outside seating) but the food quality remains and this location allows for a bar area. This visit I had Tequila Chicken and my wife had bacon wrapped shrimp.

It's one of my family's favorite restaurants. The food takes a little longer than a regular chain eatery because it is all made fresh to order. The food is delicious and I've tried a lot on their menu. Don't forget to round out your gourmet meal with a piece of flan...it's amazing! The servers are friendly and courteous. They make you feel at home in the Latin inspired ambiance. I would definitely recommend checking Antigua out!

First time at Antigua. Great service from the time we walked in until we left. Cool Latin motif. Ceviche & empanadas were delicious. Entrees were interesting with great flavors! House flan was like a caramel cheesecake. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend.

The food was amazing and the staff was friendly.The menu was good and very concise.I ordered a Black Raspberry Sangría and my meal was the Churrasco Argentino. It came with potatoes w/ cheese on the side along with a chimichurri sauce. It also came with a salad and this delicious free appetizer of toasted bread and green garlic aioli.The steak was absolutely perfect. I ordered it medium rare.

This is an excellent restaurant. Staff was great and accommodating. Started with some toasted bread and cilantro-cream spread, which was great. We had a pitcher of blackberry infused Spanish Sangria, which was like being back in Spain, so good. Then the seafood paella...practically nothing to complain about! So good, fresh, not fishy-tasting in the least, no spices overpowering one another; it was delicious. There was so much if the paella I could only get through half of it (coming from a guy who can kill a full slab of ribs and a half pound of brisket in one sitting, that's saying something). This place is a gem and I really hope they get more business, it's just fantastic.

Food was divine, best latin american food I had in Milwaukee. Our hostess was awesome too..

What a beautiful restaurant! The food was authentic, tasty and perfectly spicy, the service was attentive, kind and helpful, and the overall experience couldn’t have been better.I met the owner, who is a really cool guy and went to every length to make sure we were happy and well-accommodated. The restaurant was comfortable and spacious, and we were comfortable throughout the evening.The highlight was the flan we ordered for dessert, which was exquisite. It was just the right consistency. Its caramelization reached just the right balance of toasty sweetness, and I’m still thinking about it now, even two days later. I’ll go back again just for that, and for the excellent pork enchiladas they served me. It was a memorable evening. Don’t miss the Antigua Latin Inspired Kitchen – it’s highly recommended!

This place is the best. Best service, best cook staff, best waitress, best food, best drinks. They know how to being the best flavors out of the food they prepare. We can’t get back here enough. We look forward to going back soon.

We went for their Spanish Sundays Specials and were not disappointed! The Valencia paella was delicious and so was the sangria pitcher (both Sunday Specials). The house appetizer of crostini and alioli was also wonderful. We had great service and the atmosphere is lovely. Don't miss out on this authentic Latin inspired kitchen, you will be glad you stopped in!

A wonderful restaurant with excellent service! We started with grapefruit margaritas and the sun dried tomato guacamole, and both were excellent. The vegan enchiladas, which can be made upon request, were delicious and flavorful. My wife had a coconut shrimp dish that was also very good. The flan was amazing.

This food was outstanding. It all had so much flavor and a little twist. The staff was so friendly and attentive. Highly recommended
