Anthonys Pizza and Restaurant

From the outside, this looks like a dump... But don't let that fool you as the pizza is really good. Order a fresh pie, and skip the slices unless it's fresh out of the oven. The cook made my pasta primavera from scratch and it tasted like home made. Prices were very reasonable.

Very elegant and convenient restaurant. They provide large portions and for economical rates. I liked the food very much and the staff members were very affable and explanatory. Highly recommended.

Pizza was great. My son recently moved to the area, so we're trying lots of new places. Not much to look at, seemed kind of dark and worn on a cold rainy night. We're from Staten Island, so we know good pizza. Crispy, cheesy, a little thicker than we're used to, but still delicious. Specialty salads are plenty for 2. One downside. Went elsewhere to buy seltzer. Sugar heavy soft drinks or standard diet sodas are a turn off. Last thing anybody needs is more sugar in their diet. Upgrade the beverage selection and you have a customer for life!
