Stopped by for a tasty meatloaf sandwich with greens. Carry out service was quick - less than 10 mins - and Odessa and the rest of the crew were super welcoming. Highly recommended!

Great food and atmosphere. Service can be slow paced, so lower your expectations and don't come here if you're in a hurry. Only negative for me was having a TV on in the dining room...odd, as it's not a bar in any sense and it was very distracting.

The food is simply wonderful, the service warm and friendly. We devoured the fried fish and fried chicken dinners, each with three delicious sides. Plentiful, good for the soul. Sit down, relax and enjoy the taste!

This place is AMAZING! If you want a good, home cooked southern fried meal, this is the place to go! The green beans are delicious, the corn bread that is served with you meal melts in your mouth. I had the fried chicken...BEST. CHICKEN. EVER!!! I highly recommend!

Food was decent, but customer service is lacking. The first time I was there I was ignored and finally left without eating. The second time, the cook had to get someone and I had the impression that my presence was annoying to her.Probably won't be back.

The food here is off the hook! Nightly specials are worth making a daily stop into this joint -- we went on a Thursday night for the fried chicken and immediately made plans to go back. A plate of the crispiest, tenderest chicken you'll ever have, and your choice of 3 sides. Every single side we tried was delicious. The mac and cheese and spaghetti were amazing. Yams - YUM. Healthy portions, but we cleaned our plates and wanted to eat more. You have GOT to give this place a try!

The food i ordered was tasty. But to successfully run a lot of things have to change. The menu is not proper. There is some items written on blackboard and some on the menu paper. Some ingredients were not available for shrimp poboy so could not order. I wish i could order beforehand, but the menu is not available online. I will order here again.
