Angry Ales

This was my second visit to Angry Ales. And I am looking forward to a third trip. Their menu includes a lot of interesting choices and the meals I've been presented thus far have been pretty darn good.

My wife and I stopped in just to try it out it was amazing. The Montford was the best burger I’ve ever had.

Nice place to go watch a packer game :) Wish they had a little more shaded area outside because when you're sitting there baking in the sun, it gets to be a little much. Also, they don't have a bartender at the outside bar which seems like a missed opportunity.

Patio is great for dogs! Good food and service as well. If your a packer fan, this is your spot to watch the games! Lots of tvs and the game on the speakers, the vibe is fantastic!

Super disappointed that the menu (including specials and prices) online isn’t the menu that they give you in the restaurant. I came here for $1.50 tacos on a Tuesday; they don’t have that anymore. My friend came because we saw 10 wings for $9.95 online but it was like a dollar extra for like 8 wings or something of that sort. Either way, we were bamboozled. I ended up getting the pasta and it was AMAZING! It was like $8 for all of this pasta! I couldn’t believe it, this anywhere else could’ve easily been $13! I’m definitely going to be a regular here. Also, it helps that I see AppState posters and sports paraphernalia throughout the bar; I’m an alumni and this place makes me feel at home. A little Boone, NC in the middle of Charlotte! I love it!

I really enjoyed the food, especially the chicken wings. The atmosphere, and the karaoke machine is awesome.

Went in for a burger and a beer. Nice atmosphere with really nice bartenders. Jesse was absolutely delightful and the food was fast and delicious, beer was cold. A++. I had the Montford burger and fries. The scenery was not too bad either!

Great food, (Nachos! Wings!), Great drinks, great service, and laid-back. What more could you ask for?

This is a chain. They are all over the place. This location is in the bustling, bar hopping and walk-able Montford Drive in Charlotte.I have walked by this place many a nights. One night in particular was full of shouting and play. It was a trivia night! Trivia nights at a bar were a relatively new concept for me at the time. So to hear a person on a microphone talking at a bar I thought for a second it was an open mic poetry night or something. But nope. It was a trivia night. Get loose with alcohol and show people how smart you are I guess. This Angry Ale's location seems to be on par with what you would expect at any Angry Ale! Nothing seemed out of sorts.

Good food, cool patio, slow service.

Would give 5 stars if they had Spinach-Artichoke dip...they don't

Tot-chos and a Guinness simply can not be beat.
