Angry Deekin Ribs

So glad I came to Philly tonight and tried this place! Food was amazing and great portion sizes! You will not be disappointed. Place is small, however we got seated right away and this place is very clean, in addition the staff was very friendly. I ordered the pork spare ribs with Mac and cheese and collared greens , and it was good as hell!!! Beef Brisket was incredible as well!!!! Definitely can't wait to come back!!!! 🌟🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

The lady niceewho takes orders was very nice. Don't miss to order potato salad- best ever. I took pork ribs- so good. We will come back for sure. Strongly recommend.

Great ribs and the Mac n cheese are excellent. I have a new place to eat at when I'm in Philly. Family owned and nice friendly down to earth people. I really appreciate a black owned business doing the dam thang! Anthony Bourdian would definitely approve, may he rest in peace! God Bless!

One of my top locations for tasty bbq. Great location to meet with friends. The bill was well within reason for the quality.

We came to this place for dinner. my friend recommended this spot. Well, we were not disappointed. we were warmly welcomed by the staff members and we had a fantastic feeling. The food was just great. We loved this spot a lot and we will definitely return to this restaurant. We recommend this place to all.

We were with a bigger group and just decided to take the food to where we were staying. Anyway it was very very good! Thank you!

We live around the corner and decided to give them a try. The lady at the register taking orders was friendly and helpful. The food was amazing. The pulled pork sandwich was phenomenal and a very generous portion. Look forward to returning.

Best ribs I've had in a long time!! Tender, fall of the bone, so much flavor we didn't need any sauce! Don't get me started in the pulled pork sandwich... easily a pound of deliciousness in a brunch bun as the perfect compliment! And the service was excellent!! Everyone was polite and attentive we definitely felt like our business was appreciated.

I've been waiting for a perfect day to walk from Art Museum area to this, new-to-me BBQ place. Yesterday was that day.I was probably the first customer of the day and was solo in the shop. After tasting my food, I'm wondering why there wasn't a line out the door!?!I got beef ribs (tender, sweet, black pepper) and rib tips (melt in your mouth). Both perfect and delicious.The woman who took my order was absolutely pleasant and attentive, even suggested sauce on the side, as I usually like my BBQ dry. I'm glad she did because both the hot and mild versions were wonderful as well!I will be returning asap to try the sides and wings. Join me!

Food was great. Bottle that mild sauce and sell it. Portion size is greater than expected. Staff was very sweet. Place was clean.

I had the brisket, my wide had the pulled pork... Brisket was delicious, a little on the dry side, it was end of the day on a sunday, but the flavor was there and the fat was still melt in your mouth good. My wife really enjoyed the pulled pork, not my style but it was very good. hot BBQ sauce was surprisingly hot, but very very good. mac & cheese was delicious, I enjoyed the collared greens, wife thought they were a bit too salty. Cornbread had good flavor, but was dry, again could have been our timing. Will definitely be our new go to BBQ joint for sure.

I adore this spot! They have splendid food, their menu is rich, The chief cook in that restaurant is a specialist, I love a lot trying all their dishes. The dishes are always of high qualtity, the attitude towards the clients is efficient. I frequently visit this restaurant and I was never unhappy. I recommend it to all.
