I checked out this place because Google maps suggested that I may like it. Kona Kitchen provides food that is a fusion of Caribbean and Italian food. How could you go wrong? Steph was an excellent waitress suggesting some great options. I had flat bread with ackee and callaloo and Cassava fries as my sides to my delicious fried snapper. The oxtail over pasta is also excellent. The master in the kitchen, Chef Lo, took a moment to greet me. The whole staff was friendly and gave off that islandy vibe the Caribbean is known for.If brunch is your thing, Kona Kitchen offers Sunday brunch from 11am until 8pm.

I felt like the food and drinks we’re made with so much love. It was really delicious ! I had the lobster bites, rice, mac & cheese — that plate blew my mind !!! I’ll be back to have the oxtails next.. the pineapple mojito was a nice twist. But that rum punch set it off for me ! It was a group of 4 of us — we all had different plates, but the same experience ! We will be back !! Definitely want to try Sunday’s brunch with the live music.

Food is amazing. I’m in heaven with the drinks. Ambiance is perfection. And the staff here is extremely assertive and friendly.
