Amba Palace

Nice historic place. Must visit place in Mysore. The palace is filled with history and historical items. Some of the places in palace will make you speechless. They are wonderfully showcased. The colours inside the palace are amazing. There are even kings belonging to that palace in existence and will be showcased during Dusshera. The colours are very vivid and bright. The inner palace is more interesting and has the clothing and accessories used by the kings

Nice place to experience heritage. Beautiful palace. Though photography inside the palace is strictly prohibited but visitors make ways to click pictures when no guard is watching which is really annoying. I think people should be sensitized for how to behave inside such places. They touch walls and mirror works which is slowly depleting the beauty. There is a temple in backyard do visit.

A must visit in your list to visit in your Mysore tripA fabulous work of architecture which is well preserved and maintain. If it's your first visit I recommend to hire a tourist guide to actually know about things and respect the creation. Also on weekends and holidays the night lighting is a please to eyes and mesmerizing view which you will always be fond in your memories.
