For 110 years Amato's has served real food to real people, like you. We are a Maine company and we are proud of our heritage and history. We believe in quality and service and we work hard to deliver only the best tasting and freshest meals daily.Amato's begun in 1902 in the Old Port District of Portland Maine when Giovani Amato began serving fresh sandwiches to the many hungry dock workers. Since then it has grown to become a Maine institution and the undisputed favorite Italian sandwich through out the state. Don't miss the chance to taste a real Maine Italian. We also have some of the best pizza, pasta, and salads around too!
