Amanda Henry's Popcorn Parlor

I have to honestly say, we've ALWAYS had a good experience here. They are always so warm & friendly and will let you try the popcorn before you decide which one you want. We've been to the other popcorn places in greenville & can say they really don't compare. We even had amanda henrys provide the popcorn for our wedding and they did an excellent job!! Go here if you can!

Their Banana Ice Cream is really good, the others too..and the shop is really nice, but it's not exactly cheap.

Always love going to Amanda Henry's! Excellent popcorn with delicious savory & sweet options. They also serve many flavors of good ice cream.

Absolutely loved it here! There is a bunch of fun varieties of popcorn and they will let you sample before you buy. There are also other goodies and the store is much larger than it looks. There is ice cream and candies and little bistro tables if you want to sit. Highly recommend!

I like gourmet popcorn and both popped and unpopped are available. Convenient operation hours and parking.

The popcorn and ice cream are great with lots of different flavors. The staff are very friendly and courteous and they seem to be a better value than the other place downtown.

Best popcorn ever! I purchased some popcorn to take to my family in Florida for Christmas and it was a success! The flavors were sea salt caramel, cheddar cheese, garlic parmesan and the sea salt caramel tuxedo popcorn. The garlic parmesan shocked everyone on how delicious it was and the tuxedo popcorn stole the show. They are still raving about that one. I have a feeling they will be requesting more next year. It's a hidden gem! - Even though I have been living in Greenville for 2 years I only found Amanda Henry's Popcorn Parlor only now.It's everything anybody would want:1) a cool meeting spot downtown2) great popcorn in every kind of flavor (since I trying to stay away from sweet stuff I had garlic/cheese, and sweet/salty mix, both kinds = 5*****)3) a most interesting selection of sodas (I had Kiwi-Lime)4) I was so in awe with the selection of sodas that I forgot to ask if they serve coffee (my favorite beverage)5) a must-visit place in Greenville, SCPS: I was lucky and found a parking spot close-by, but they have a designated parking lot right next door. So, in case you can't find parking, look for it.

I do not like to post bad reviews because sometimes things are not controllable so this is not a negative view of any product sold here. My review has to do with operating hours, the sign said the store opened at 11, I arrived 5 minutes early and waited, I saw 2 maybe 3 workers inside but they never opened the business, at 11:20 I called the business number to ask when they were going to open and the call went to the answering machine. At 11.25 I looked up other popcorn makers and found Poppingtons Gourmet Popcorn just up the road on Main St. so I took my business there, needless to say they were open and very friendly, I do not know if Amanda's Popcorn is better and after my experience I really doubt that I will ever know. Come on people the first rule of business is to take care of your customers, if no one had been inside I would have never written this review, but to have people inside see me and not acknowledge me, sorry I will go somewhere else.

Great popcorn in all flavors. Sea Salt Caramel corn is extra good, and our favorite!!

Fresh gourmet popcorn and rare sodas with plenty of tables and room for boardgames. If you like the sound and smell of popping popcorn this is the place for you! And... JENGA!!! 😃

The candy flavors are amazing! The staff is super friendly, the flavors of the popcorn don't taste like the fake, chemical tasting flavors of some other brand's. A little pricey, but totally worth it!

This is the cutest popcorn and ice cream parlor! They have such a great variety of popcorn, and their staff is super nice! I love the chicago style popcorn, and their kettle corn! Their ice cream is good, too!

After coming from walking around Dwntwn (3 - 5 miles), I would come here (from time to time) to grub on the mini traditional popcorn balls, sip'n on the Fruit2O - lemon, listening 2 my music. What better way 2 snack on a nutritional products! So far, Black Raspberry & Honey Mustard flavor popcorn r my fav!
