Good food - quintessential Wisconsin tavern off the beltline. Friendly staff too. If you're not comfortable in this atmosphere, then you're not from around here.

If you are looking for a great hamburger, start here. Friendly service, reasonable prices and cold beer! They serve a full menu with daily specials. Definitely worth a visit.

besides the slow service, the food is amazing. very well priced. this place is the spot for great fish fry. only flaw with food is the stale half slice of bread you recieve...minor details but would go a LONG way to have a dinner roll with softened butter while waiting for painstakingly slow servers

Great fish fry. All you can eat for 11.75 includes fries, coleslaw, soup and dinner roll. Lightly battered and hot.

Found this place my accident, and decided to give it a shot. Glad we did! Friendly service and fair prices and this place gives you a more northern community feeling. A little escape from the city feeling while dining here.

This (3-28-19) is last day of business for Alt'n Bach's after several decades of operation at this location. Busy lunch hour & early afternoon for Milwaukee Brewer season opener shown on many large screen TV's. Also, many old time regulars saying "good by"!! Low supply of food (only chili @ $1) and beer @ $2. Many are sad to see AnB close.

Fantastic service. Great homemade food. I love the soups. And fries. Oh, and the onion rings. And the BLTs. But my fave? The tuna fish salad sandwich on whole wheat toast. Alt n Bach's treats you like a family guest.

I'm sorry they will be closing soon. I'll miss all the good people I"ve met over the years. My husband was there for opening day over 40 years ago :(

This place is managed by the finest folks I've ever known. Alt'n Bach's is all a pub should be, and so much more. ðŸ‘ðŸ»

Fries were good and the sandwich I had was very good. Servers were friendly and attentive. Our family has gone here for years!
