Al's Luncheonette

Stopped in for late breakfast. Had eggs and omelettes that were perfectly cooked. Service was excellent too. Manager checked in to ensure we were having a good experience. A basic diner with superior food and service. We'll be coming back. Try it and see.

Food was delicious and the staff treats you like family from the moment you walk in.

I love this place so many of their things are homemade their specials everyday the staff is very friendly and warm they love their customers they treat everyone like family. I can recommend the chicken salad the skillets are very Jersey. They have healthy options to they have many different salads you can add your own twist on them. I highly recommend it there opens not that late I think until 3 on Saturdays worth the trip!

DO NOT GO HERE! If there was an option to give no stars I would. I’m not usually the type to write a review but this deserves it. Yesterday my husband picked up bacon, egg, and cheese sandwiches with cheddar cheese. Not only was the cheese wrong, there were egg shells throughout the whole sandwich. Nothing like crunching on egg shells! I called them up and spoke to a man who wrote my name down and said to come in tomorrow and he’d make me new sandwiches. I call today to order the new sandwiches and explained yesterdays situation and my name which was written down. He tells me he’s the boss and I have to pay. “Show me proof, bring in the sandwiches!” Very mean and greedy. I would’ve brought the sandwiches in yesterday if I had been asked to yesterday. The sandwiches were thrown out. He refuses to give me a refund. The only thing I can do now is spread the word and prevent everyone from having an experience like we had.
