Ali's Roti Shop Plantation

I’m a South Florida native living in New York as a professional chef. Every time I come back home, Ali’s is one of my stops that I have to make or I just won’t feel right. I live in Crown heights, about 5 stops away from the carribean neighborhood in Brooklyn, and Ali’s beats them all. No restroom? Not a problem. Suck it up. Eat and enjoy the food. Family owned business, tried to learn their recipes by offering to work for free but they wouldn’t allow it haha.

I got an aloo pie with all three sauces (spicy, cucumber, and sweet) and a veggie with rice meal with a side of roti. It wasn't crowded and the pie was chewy and the sauces were great. I also feel I got a lot for what I paid. ($14+)

My first experience was a fantastic one food was great people was great I'm hooked
