Alfonso's Cafe

A tiny café with so much charm! A very family oriented staff who's always cooking awesome homestyle food. Came here for a crepe (perfectly cooked!) and an Italian soda in a cozy little breakfast house, stayed to chat with the owner and his son for a while before continuing my day. A really nice treat, and much more than I expected from an unassuming little café hidden on San Pablo. Definitely coming back to support them, and you should too!

I've tried their crepes and their sandwiches, and while both were adequate, neither was particularly great, and there's a lot of great food nearby. I don't recall the crepe in detail, but the avocado sandwich was basic, on white toast, and felt more like a snack than a meal. To be fair, the price was modest too.I'm living less than a block away, but I rarely go here, because I've always come away underwhelmed. I'd go again if invited by a friend who likes it, but otherwise, probably not.

I found Alphonso's after leaving my car at the repair shop a few doors from there. I had a wonderful meal and Alphonso's is a gracious host who made feel very welcome. I will definitely go back again.

Absolutely yes. Perfect quick stop for fresh cafe bites. Fresh cooked, fresh ingredients, FAST, priced appropriate and good tasting.

I ordered the crepe with veggies and pesto, Delicious! My daughters enjoyed theirs as well. He is personable and welcoming! I'll definitely go back! Parking is tight! So plan on driving backwards when finished Or doing a 10 point 360.

Very nice people running the Cafe. Food was pretty good, but I wouldn't seek it out specifically.

Alfonso is very sweet and makes the best crepes I've ever had. My favorite I'd savory Florentin. It is only Alfonso and his son so you might wait a little for your, but it is well worth it!

Today, the owner was not the most friendly person. Poor first impression. I understand why the establishment lacks customers

First off, delicous and friendly. Don't expect anything fast. Most things are scratch made. I forgot how good real eggs are vs thst instant egg batter most places use. I have never been in a place that made me feel more like I was in my grandparents house getting a custom homemade brrakfast.Portions large, taste excellent, and prices LOW. If you have time to wait, RECOMMEND, RECOMMEND, RECOMMEND!!!

Popular neighborhood breakfast, lunch place. Small but I seem to always find a table, inside or out. Friendly, family run. Try the coffee in the huge Paris mug. Foods so good I have to limit my visits so I don't get too gorda!
