Wonderful people that work here, supporting and doing so much good for the community, also food is good and the prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend this place as your choice to eat

This is one of my favorite diners in all of Chicago. The service is awesome and the food is delicious. It's a little cramped of a space but I've also never had a wait longer than a couple of minutes.

Such a lovely little spot. The food is good and the service is excellent. Feels very family-like. I went there to check emails and eat some chocolate chip pancakes and when my computer was dying they let me switch tables and got me an extension cord so I could plug it in. A few people who were there were clearly regulars, which was heart warming. A true neighborhood gem.

Second time here, but let me tell you. They make you feel like if they've known you for a while. Very polite and friendly people serving.

Alexander's restaurant is an excellent Family Restaurant. I don't know how long it's been in business because I only recently discovered it but I love the place. The service is great, the food is great, the cooks are great. I give it 5 Stars. It's a small little compact place and occasionally you have to wait in line near the door in order to get a table or booth or you can sit at the counter. But it's worth the wait. Know that the restaurant usually closes at 4pm so you got to get there no later than 3. When I went this Fourth of July they closed at 3 for the holidays. I love their breakfast. I've never been disappointed. My girlfriend took me there the first time.. Then I brought my husband. Next I brought my sister. Then my husband again. And finally my girlfriend I went back again for the holidays. Take a tip from me and make sure to check it out. They may be a little pricey but it's worth it. And I will go back again and again and again.

I would love for Alexander’s to serve a better brand of coffee. The current one is closer to brown colored water than it is to actual coffee. The food is good, the service is decent, but the coffee is very weak.
