This spot knows how to please their clients. Constantly with a very friendly mindset. The food is affordably priced, regularly flavorful and neat.

Everything I ate was delicious I had leek and potatoe soup and chicken with Madagascar pepper sauce 😋

Service was great, meat was very good (carnet de canard) but the salad portion was too small.

I've been to Alex H a couple of times and both meals were very enjoyable. The first visit was slightly spoiled by a large and extremely noisy party, but our server managed to get us tables outside so we were able to finish our meal in the relative quietness of the patio. The second time we went later and had a very pleasant and quiet meal from 8 - 10 p.m. Alex H is not cheap, but the food seems as good to me as at places where they charge a lot more. Bringing your own wine is great: you can bring something that you know you will enjoy and not pay an excessive markup. Great neighbourhood resto!
