Alero Mexican Restaurant

The food and drinks here are always amazing!When my friends and I were finishing up eating the busser seemed to keep collecting things around us. Hence, we felt rushed. The restaurant didn’t close until 2:45 and it was only about 12:00 am so I didn’t see what the rush was.... Aside from that the food is always good and fresh!!

It’s unfortunate that people are not treated the same based on the color of their skin. I will not patronize this restaurant.

I have been to Aleros twice. This is a great place to visit for a good time and good tacos! They have great steak tacos. Literally, this best steak tacos I have had in this area, easily. They have happy hour everyday of the week which is a major plus for me. Their frozen drinks are awesome. I have tried their hot wings and they are okay. They lose a star for me because they add gratuity automatically if your table has a tab over $60. It is not based on your party size.

Food was flavorful and well prepared as take out meal. Enjoyed the culinary experience.

Wish there was a 0 stars option. The service here is the worst service I have had, especially considering the cost for food that would’ve been better coming from Mcdonald’s. Extremely racist management and staff, don’t support a business like this.

The food is okay but very expensive for the quality and portion of the food they serve. The worst thing about this restaurant is their Customer service, the server are very racist and rude toward black Customers and also very hard to understand what they are saying /communicate. All in all I will never ever come back to this place and won't spend even a penny again! Not Recommended 👎👎👎 !!!

Good food. Service was a bit slow. Put automatic tip on the bill as well.

4 of us went to Alero's and the food was good but what I didn't like is the fact that they automatically added a tip to our bill....The guy said that because the bill passed $100 a tip was automatically added. Bullcrap, we always leave good tips but don't add a tip automatically for a party of four ...

Food Was Great And Everything Else As Well.But its sad that i regret going there because of the poor customer service i & my family experienced and not only from the waiter but from members of the team as well.I would never recommend a birthday their especially a family members at that.Very Bad Experience For My Sisters Birthday.From my experience it looks very clear that they judge you in race.I could not not kill the moment for my sisters birthday and tell the waiter that it was her birthday and that i wanted them to sing happy birthday and with sombrero just like the other 3 birthdays i saw while being in there.So i fake went to the bathroom and got the attention of a guy that works there and by the time he went to go tell my waiter it was when he was next to me and waiter said NO because they did not tell me in the table or in the beginning. I even offered to pay extra as long as they do not bash my sisters birthday surprise.

It was one of my unplanned visits on Christmas day 2019. Props for being open that night. It is a relatively big place with lots of tables and a bar. The food was good. Lots of vegetarian options(Spinach enchiladas in the picture). The service was amazing. They brought in a band for a couple of minutes to celebrate a customer's birthday.

Didnt expected to be interviewed but it pas amazing. Staff crew was really Nice and available.

Although I like the taste of some of the food, the service isn't great at all. I always thought it was mediocre because the servers were exhausted running back and forth between tables, but come to find out, the service was always bad because they're racist. Definitely won't be back. Uncle Julios is a tiny tiny bit more pricy but I'd rather go there. The food is amazing and the service is always great.

The food isn't spectacular. I only give it a 2 star bc of the art and interior design and decoration is beautiful. That's all.

This is by far one of the best places I’ve been to in DC...The food is really good, the servers, bartenders are very friendly. The security at Aleros always greets you kindly and the DJ always playing great music. I recommend this place 100%.
