Absolutely love this place! The food is great (I recommend the sweet potato fries to start) and the staff are friendly. The taps change regularly and they often have beers that no one else has. Cash only, so come prepared with cash or your debit card for the atm.

Alchemy is one of our favorite restaurants in Madison. They seem to have a different flavor for their short ribs every time we go there. Their Korean short ribs were fantastic and at first, I was super disappointed when they were gone. But I’ve found they have a reliably good flavor each time I order it. Cash only and reasonably priced for the quality you get. There’s an ATM on site.

Only been here a couple of times. Their house special burgers are usually pretty good. Overpriced but that’s what you get with downtown locations.

Delicious food! My party got the pork shoulder taco special, blackened chicken sandwich, and portabella mushroom sandwich. All were great. The blackened chicken sandwich is a tiny bit spicy but not at all overwhelming, I'd put it on the mild side of the spectrum. We tried the lavender lemon cheesecake (made by Looking Glass Bakery) for dessert, normally I love lavender flavor in food and drinks but I wasn't too impressed here. Be prepared for a bit of noise; it's a somewhat small space so tables are close together. I wouldn't recommend it for a first date, for example. But I really liked it and I will definitely be returning!

Moved here from Texas for work. Checked this place out and I enjoyed it. Awesome food, drinks and staff is nice.

Incredible. The staff was so great. The hostess did everything she could to accommodate as we waited for a table. The food was simply delicious. Vegetarian options are original and so good. My husband loved the hand-pattied hamburgers.

I loved the mashed potatoes, it is a very nice place.

I got a good steak and potato salad, with lemon lavender cheesecake.

Outstanding food! The small batch bread was a delicious start to a thoroughly satisfying meal.The stuffed grilled cheese was fantastic and the burger was one of the best I've had in a while. Service was on the ball, friendly, and attentive.Definitely a strong recommendation should you find yourself in the neighborhood.
