Fantastic, authentic, wondrous French cuisine. Food was fresh, savory, scrumptious, magical! Owner was present when we dined and ensured an amazing experience. Escargot, Foie gras, pates, entrees were all delicious!

The food was delicious. The atmosphere was very comfortable and intimate. The music was subtle and created ambiance. The waiter recommended very good wines, and we will definitely be back at Alain's Wine and Tapas soon.

Alain is hilarious, warm, friendly, and is fully invested in your experience at his bistro. The food is incredible; had the butternut squash and celery soup special this week, made fresh with local ingredients, and I can't stop thinking about it!

After testing the resto principles, I tried the bistro ... very good burnt and pink cream reminiscent of Fr, for the rest it is dark and small, deco a little old

I loved Alain's other location, but now my favorite restaurant in Rockland County is the "Petit Bistro." Same phenomenal food; ever the epitome of a high class chef. He is warm and welcoming. The waitstaff is superb and gracious. All that is important when choosing where to dine, but let's face it, the most important element is the food! The menu is anything but "run of the mill." Be adventurous and try something you've never had before. Maybe steak tartare or escargot? Alain's Boeuf Bourguignon will blast the words "Dinty Moore" right out of your brain! Don't overlook the classics like French onion soup, or Chicken Cordon Bleue.....they didn't become classics for nothing! The menu changes with the seasons. Sometimes for special occasions, there is a special menu. I spent one New Year's Eve, solo, at Alain's and couldn't have had a better time anywhere else. Remember, you get what you pay for. And, "that's all I have to say about that."
