Food was okay nothing to write home to Mom about though

Very quaint place. Smells of cigars since it is located next door to a tobacco shop. Food was delicious! We had the hummus to start and it was very fresh. Hubby had schwarma (chicken) and I had curried lamb. It was all great. Prices were well aligned with the quality of the food. Will take photos next time we go.

The cook here has magic in his hands, I am over whelmed by the first bite of tasty food. Loved it.

We ordered a falafel sandwich (perfectly delicious and spicy, with crispy French fries) and a sample platter. The baba ganoush and grape leaves were the best I’ve ever had. The falafel and hummus were so fresh and tasty. You must eat here.

Delicious food and great service

We were driving through and stopped based on the high reviews. The owners were exceptionally nice, they catered to our 2 year perfectly, and the facility was cute. The food was hit and miss: my lamb burger with egg was outstanding, the fries were hot, the chicken Shwarma was in a wrap/tortilla (not flat bread), the Greek salad dressing was tasty but standard, as was the baklava. Overall a safe place for lunch or takeout. I highly recommend the lamb burger!

Loved it here! Great food, and the owner could not have been a nicer guy. Got to know us, and made my wife a special vegan dish just for her. Certified halal kitchen, and it shows.

We had take out for seven tonight . The food, particularly the lamb shwarma, was outstanding. The owner was lovely. Everything was fresh, flavourful, and delightful. Definitely on a shortlist of Lynchburg's best .

The food was simply delicious. The owner came out to greet all of his guests. The place was warm and inviting. Will definitely dine there again.

Service was fast and friendly. Prices were really good considering the amazing quality of the food served. I don't think I can really explain in words how good the food was. I will definitely be returning as soon as possible for another meal from them. My new go to place.

If you live in Lynchburg or you are passing through and want some spectacular Mediterranean food, Al Ryan is the place to go! Everything was made fresh and tasted amazing! Hands down the best chicken shawarma I have ever had! The owner is also extremely kind, welcoming, and great to talk to! I will definitely be going back soon!

My wife and I went here on a date tonight and could not have come away more impressed. Don’t let the small location fool you, they’ve got amazing flavor. The owner was fantastic and gave us so much of his time, and he cooked the food exactly to our liking. We had lentil soup, which was so delicious and hot on a cold day. My wife had chicken kebabs, rice, and salad, while I had a Chicken Shwarma wrap with hummus. Everything was prepared super fresh and exactly how we asked for it. If I lived in the area, we’d back back over and over again. Support small businesses like this one!!

Great Turkish coffee and Baklava. Wonderful service.
