Akira Sushi and Hibachi

This place has an all you can eat menu with a ton of things on it. Every roll they make is part of the deal, as well as a bunch of appetizers, noodles and rice, tempura, teriyaki, hibachi items, etc. Just make sure that you eat everything that you order or you will be charged an extra fee.

Nestled in the center of Fat City is this seemingly unassuming Japanese restaurant. There's a ton of them in the city and what makes this one different is they have a quite good all you can eat Japanese menu for $22. It's a good value, the service is good and there are some distinctive items on the menu that make this place where the look.

Great food, excellent service, and the hibachi chefs are the best in town and are very entertaining. Highly recommend Akira.

The food is good but not insanely good. The fish is good quality and when you do sashimi, you can get 40 price per person to help make up the pricing. Dinner is worth if you are able to eat a few more dishes after the 40 piece sashmi. The atmosphere make it feel casual to slightly fancy.

I never heard of this place till a friend saw the commercial and I am glad they did. Cannot wait to go back for hibachi because of the great food and fantastic chefs.

Great all you can eat sushi special. It includes a wide range of appetizers which is the real gem of the deal. The scallops, seaweed salad, and soft shell crab are great. The rolls are decent.

Good food, good service, good price (can't beat the all you can eat). Would recommend.

I never had sushi so good and fresh

I went there last night with my brother and boyfriend. The service wasn't bad. I ordered two plates of the hibachi steak. The first plate was fine but the second plate was rotten. My brother tried it first and said it tasted off. I tried it after him and I wanted to throw up. It smelled and tasted pungent and we lost our appetite. I sent it back with a waitress and nobody apologized or brought another plate to us. We left shortly after and we probably won't be back.

Just left here for my anniversary. Could not have picked a better place! Atmosphere is really nice but the prices are super reasonable! The sushi was very tasty and the options for the all you can eat was way more than expected! We will be back soon!

Akira has an all you can eat menu with excellent options. However, the quality of the food keeps changing. On some days, it's excellent. On others, the food isn't that great.
