I was very happy with the restaurant. Super friendly staff, and the food was to die for. Had the sashimi dinner, and let me say... It was amazing. Very fresh, and tasty. The presentation was great too!!!

The sushi is excellent and most of the staff is Japanese, which makes the whole experience even better. The raw fish feels really fresh and tasty. The only reason why I am giving 4 stars is that their sushi rolls are too large to fit into our mouth, I had to break it into pieces to be able to eat it, which doesn't allow to taste the sushi as a whole. My husband is very tall and big and he had the same problem. If they made it a little smaller it would be great.

I had a quick pick up from them to grab some sushi on the go, and will definitely be coming back to sit down for a meal! Very fresh Alaska maki - important in this case, since the rolls are made with raw salmon. The interior is very cute, and prices are democratic.

Ordered via skip the dishes as I was in town overnight for work after a long day. They did not fulfill the order after waiting for over 1 hour. I guess they should not be listed as a vendor since they do not value the incremental business. I will be in town a lot, but I don’t think I will be trying them regardless of their rating. Just disappointed by being ignored and then having to scramble after waiting.

Great food, nice decor. But it IS NOT all you can eat no matter what tripcentral, Google or yelp tells you.

Decently priced lunch specials. Good portion size and fresh. Would recommend.

Great selection and quality. Try the deep fried lobster roll 🤯🤯. For large groups it has the sunken table which really adds to the experience. Staff are very attentive and polite.

Had an amazing little family sushi lunch at Akira with our 4 young adults. We all loved the Bento style sushi dishes and the food was pristine and superb. Since it isn't on the main drag in Kingston, it had a quaint little croud of guests for a Saturday. It was fairly expensive but you should expect to pay more for this quality of meal. I really want to go back for Omakase and have chef design something amazing. That is pricy and needs to be ordered a week ahead but I trust this chef would go above and beyond to make it a truely memorable experience.

I stopped in for lunch. I had Miso soup, Wakame salad and tempura ( shrimp and vegetables). All were delicious! Service was good considering how busy it was. The Wakame salad was a nice size serving considering the size I have been served elsewhere. I have eaten here a few times before and had sashimi that was fresh and tasty. I will definietely go there again.
