Akira Ramen & Izakaya

This place is amazing! Food is great and service from the employees is top of the line. The wait to be seated on weekends can be long especially for larger parties but other than that it’s great.

This is our family’s preferred place for a ramen fix! Cosy place and authentic ramen served with a smile!

I rarely write reviews but let me tell you. I had to after having this ramen. I am in the parking lot writing this. the servers, atmosphere, & food was all a wonderful experience! Our waiter was friendly & efficient. The broth was so flavorful! Best ramen in town

Very neat and welcoming place. They serve big meals and for inexpensive rates. We liked the menu very much and the staff members were very attentive and informative. Will definitely recommend this place.

Nice little ramen shop. Some classic items, and then some remixed or fused ideas combining Western ingredients in a Japanese presentation.The Akira Volcano is quite nice, would recommend. Spicy, hearty soup with a nice variety of toppings.Good place for a casual date, I'd imagine.

This place is life. Best ramen in the DMV and I've been to those supposed ”best" ones in DC and the Volcano ramen has THE best broth, flavor, quality!

This was my first time here and I loved everything about! They were quick, kind, and helpful with all the questions I had about what to get! The food was amazing and came out very quickly! Loved it! Will def. be back! I loved the pork buns and the fried chicken ramen!

This spot was really yummy, everything was flavorful and well prepared. Ordered the gyoza it was very good. The main event was the Akira volcano ramen. Wow this was good, ordered with wavy noodles. Everything about this dish was amazing. I would recommend it to anyone who eats here. The atmosphere was cool, very bright and open. It you sit at the bar you get a front row show of the ramen being made, very cool.

Friendly staff with great customer service and hospitality. The food is never a disappointment and always hits the spot. Weather you're looking for sweet, savory, crunchy, noodles or sushi they have a wonderful selection. They are definitely one of the best local restaurants in the area and I would highly recommend them to anyone!

This spot is worth a try. They have big portions for affordable rates. Constantly neat and with awesome ambience. Highly recommended.

Very good vegetarian ramen. House made curly noodles are first class and when they make up the to go orders they separate noodles and veggies from the broth keeping the noodles warm but not overcooked. Nice touch!
