The food and place both were decent.

Was recommended to join a friend who frequents this place and wasn't disappointed. Lunch can be hit or miss in Midtown, but this place was good. All the dishes coming past looked and smelled good, and I had the lamb kebabs and was glad I did. Very well seasoned and cooked.

Definitely a place worth stopping by, the food is great and fresh, the rates are convenient and it is constantly neat there. Keep it up.

Servers here are very friendly and they take care of you very well. Food was high quality compared to other Middle Eastern foods at that price.

I love this place. I used to go here very often for years, then I moved out of the area and didn't go. It was like coming back home today. The food is just as it used to be, and excellent service. I noticed that the prices didn't increase either. I enjoy it a lot. Thank you, Akdeniz!

Lamb for the Ä°skender dish was a bit chewy, tasted as if it was frozen which would explain why it took an unusually long time to get our main course. Appetizers were delicious and came out fast.Chewyness aside it's a pretty solid rendition of my favorite Turkish dish, but including chewyness it's at best a 3.5/5 (five stars being what you get in Istanbul, in the US I have only ever had a 4.5 rendition).For these reasons I'll give the overall score of 4/5 stars. I intend to return and try other dishes, hopefully only the imported fish is the only thing that is from frozen.

I get to eat here a lot since I work in the area. I got to say the customer service is always fantastic and they keep the spot clean all the time. Pricing is affordable and they serve big portions.

Tried this spot in the past with a friend and I am hooked since then. I loved the excellent vibes and delightful dishes and drinks. I recommend this place.

Midtowners have this on repeat for lunch.Doesn't look like much but really good food. Shepherd salad is yum.

This is the best Turkish restaurant in midtown. The food was amazing and prepared very quickly. The staff was very welcoming and informative and helped us order our food. Also if you are a theater gooer the prix fix dinner menu can't be beat. The lamb gyro is only available during the day but it is amazing.

I go with my wife to this restaurant often! This is my favorite restaurant to pass a nice evening. I go to this spot at least once a month. The food is excellent, the workers are friendly and the cost is affordable. I enjoy meeting in this spot to have a nice meal.

Great little Mediterranean place in Manhattan. Quiet calm atmosphere inside. Friendly waitstaff and tasty food. I ordered the calamari salad and it had just the right amount of sweetness and spice added to it. The calamari was cooked very well not rubbery at all.
