AJ's is a Family owned and operated BBQ and Tex-Mex restaurant located near the Texas State University campus in beautiful San Marcos, TX. The owner, Andrew Napoles, is an alumni of TSU and is an official supporter of the Texas State Football Team! GO BOBCATS! We cater to all ages and even stay open late until 3am, the ONLY LATE NIGHT BBQ in Central Texas! Come in and try one of our delicious, fresh made dishes that are sure to please your pallet!

By far the best BBQ found in San Marcos. The prices are great and the employees are always so kind. My favorite menu item is the pulled pork sandwich combo- the fries and sweet tea are seriously to die for! So good😋💕

Love that they’re open late night, Mesquite cooked BBQ is delicious, and the owner is actually a Texas State Alumni! Gotta support those Bobcats!!
