So sad to see so many bears in small cages begging for food. Even they have put clothes on a baby bear to take pictures with it 😓, even 1 star is too much for this zoo... We came across this because we had to pay an entrance fee for this zoo to go to the helicopter tour to fly over the active volcano of mount aso.

I'm from Honshu, but I purchase a year pass! I visit Kumamoto once a month or every two months just to meet the dogs in the doggy square ♪ Every one is so cute and I love it! There are many cat cafes and bird cafes on the streets, but it's hard to get in touch with the dogs. Due to the effects of natural disasters, I couldn't go here, so my annual pass has expired.
