Aji Ramen and Sushi

If you want real ramen and great sushi this is definitely the place

The perfect place on a rainy night! Had the Cha-Shu Ramen with roast pork, green onions, soft boiled egg, bean sprouts and seaweed in bone broth. It was fantastic. We also got the Vegetable Ramen which was equally as good. They will see me again without a doubt.

The service was good, we had the sweetest waitress. The food is delicious, and it shows. This place was packed!

Aji Asian Bistro is a quality combination Asian restaurant. They serve Chinese standards like General Tso's Chicken, Thai dishes like pad Thai, and Japanese specialties like sushi and ramen. Appetizers, soups, sides, and entrees are easily combined so one can enjoy the best of each cuisine. It has a minimalist, modern vibe, good quality food, and economical pricing.

Our server Gary was fantastic! If not for him, I'm not sure when or if anyone else working there would have spoken to us. The young man at the counter/cash register didn't ever look up. He's at the station which is the customer's first point of contact, where you would expect to check in. We were there on a busy Saturday and had a reservation, which was a good idea. Our seating was slightly uncomfortable due to uneven table at the booth that constantly slid and moved, as besides being wobbly, was not attached to the wall.The menu has sushi, teriyaki, pad thai, and some Chinese favorites. Food was good, not excellent. I would give it another try. First experience was semi-encouraging.

Food was excellent, service was friendly and fast, and the restaurant has a nice atmosphere. A great addition to downtown Lynchburg, and no doubt one of the top Chinese Restaurants in Lynchburg. Highly recommend!

Egg rolls were perfection. Enjoyed the sushi. Only problem is, I'll have to come back several times to try everything I had my eye on.

Great atmosphere, delicious food, and friendly staff. I got the Auto Control Roll, and the roll is mostly fish instead of rice, which is a huge bonus in my book. Also got the Pork Katsu ramen, and it was also quite good. Savory but not spicy, with good crunch on the Katsu. Finished up with the vanilla bean mochi for dessert. I'll definitely be coming back here.

Some of the most authentic Japanese ramen and sushi in town! Have been twice and will definitely be there again!

First time was very excited. Ordered the steak Habachi and....no. The steak doesn't taste like steak the veggies were under cooked. The YUMYUM....? I don't know how you can mess up YUMYUM but I threw all of my food away.

For starters, sushi is one of my favorite dishes. I've tried a decent amount of sushi places in Lynchburg, and some other places. This establishment was the most dissapointing of all of them. I'm not sure exactly what it was about the sushi, but it just wasn't good, especially when compared to any other similarly prices sushi restaurant. I will say that the service was quick, and the staff was nice enough. My experience wasn't awful, but I would not come back here, nor would I recommend them to anyone I know.

So far the best ramen I've had in Lynchburg. Decent Tako yaki; could tone down the filler. Broth has a really good taste to it and they don't skimp on the spice level (unless you're not into that). Seems like they only have one wait staff so you may be waiting a while but all in all, solid food spot. Will be back :)
