Ahuva Bagel Co.

About

This is a small, family owned and run business serving world class bagels! Enviornment is quiet, friendly, and they have free WiFi. There is a sandwich menu (on bagels, of course) and the BLT is so great I haven't tried anything else. I think there are at least a dozen different bagel flavors to choose from, plus they offer beverages and assorted snacks. I didn't see sandwiches on the cuisine menu, so I went with delicatessan, but sandwich shop would be a better choice. Inside seating of chairs & tables, or couch & coffee table. Owners are very lovely people.

We decided to have a light brunch at Ahuva Bagel on Saturday morning.I had a cheese bagel with cream cheese and avacado while my friend chose the everything bagel with lox, cream cheese, tomato and sweet onion. He declined the capers.Ordering was easy and pleasant. The staff was cheerful and smiling. I added a hot chair tea to go with my cream cheese and avacado bagel. It only took about 5 minutes for our order to become ready even with 3 order ahead of ours. Both bagels were perfectly prepared and delicious. I don't think either of us left but a few crumbs. A note about my chai tea: it was perfect! Not too hot but definitely hot. I was very pleased as almost every coffee stand heats the chair and milk to scalding even when I ask for it not too hot.Our bill was very reasonable at $7.75 for the above bagels and chai tea.We had a pleasant conversation, enjoyed our food and were thanked as we left.

Questions & Answers

REAL bagels!! Boiled AND baked fresh every day. None of that grocery store nonsense. Makes a crispy crust and a soft wonderful inside.

Yes, we do sell servings of lox on the side. We don’t sell a whole side (fillet of a fish) of lox.

I am sorry Judy, we have not found a copper earring. We’ll keep an eye out.
