Agustin Kitchen

I would say this restaurant is definitely split into two different restaurants. There is front of house and back of house. The back of house is on their A game, the food was to die for, I enjoyed every last bite and was in a very happy food coma. Front of house is a different story. When we arrived we were given side eye for not having a reservation, let me mention that the entire time it was us and only two other couples who were there.... definitely no need for reservation... I mentioned I was there since I saw on facebook that they were having a fried chicken event that day, the waiter had no idea and he had to go check which took like 10 minutes. Then when I ordered the pepper soup, he brought out a potato soup and was like sorry no pepper I was wrong. I would go back for the food, but not because of wait staff.

You will find interesting and creative dishes on the menu here as well as twists on old favorites. I find that dinners are exquisite at Augustin Kitchen whereas lunches are good, but nothing spectacular. To be fair, it could just be due to the daytime's ambiance, menu selections -- or a relaxed effort. At any rate I really enjoy coming here day or night. It's a good date-night restaurant.

Located in a small, interesting shopping square, the menu was small but wonderful. Starting with Barrio bread - delicious bread with a fresh tasing pesto and compound butter. Curried soup was just the right amount of flavor and spice. Brussel Sprouts were done well in a balsamic dressing. Harvest salad was good. Standout was the carrot risotto - a healthy portion with a great flavor. Very nice atmosphere.

The atmosphere was really nice - sort of old world meets modern design. Very cozy with lower lighting, allowing you to focus on your date. We started with the braised mushrooms, which were excellent. Very flavorful. I had the Carrot Risotto and my date had the veal. Presentation of the dishes were good, the flavors were also good. Somewhat on the rich side, though. Not as balanced as the flavors of the mushrooms. Service was attentive and friendly.

From appetizers to entrees, everything was prepared perfectly! Service was excellent! I wish I lived close by so I could visit regularly! Thanks to the Augustin staff for the nice finish to our evening!

It is dinner time at 5:30pm Saturday. Not very many people maybe it’s because it is raining outside and puddles of mud. But the atmosphere in here is upscale looking and the food prices are also a bit on the medium pricey side $$$. The hibiscus margarita is strong but has good flavor. I asked for red wine but he gave me Pinot Grigio, but it’s all good. The sirloin peppadew is pretty good flavorful with mint, horseraddish. The ciopinno is flavorful and shrimp and scallop is cooked perfectly but the chicken in the risotto is a bit dry.

The menu here is in constant flux...which can be annoying when you desire something you have had before. But everything is awesome every time. So no matter what you order it will be great. I had the best filet in my life here...but it's now but a cherished memory. I'm hoping that it wont be a one off.

If your looking for a place to eat downtown that has parking and great food and great service. Try this place. Try the fried chicken dinner on Sunday!

Visited with a party of 6 last night and we were able to call ahead and reserve a table which was incredibly convenient! The food and drinks were fantastic; however, our server ruined our experience. He wasn’t very enthusiastic about our dining options and instead, was very curt and borderline rude. When my friend ordered a club soda with cranberry, he asked incredulously “In the same drink???” Which made my friend feel humiliated. He forgot part of the order and didn’t apologize when we reminded him about it and didn’t apologize again when it finally arrived at the very end of our meal. He wasn’t attentive or professional and for the type of restaurant, he felt very off-brand.

Went with four couples. Everyone was happy with their food. Noise level varies a lot depending on where you are sitting. Outside is fun with small band or instrumental and more families; inside dining can be noisy; inside by the bar may be the best. Friendly knowledgeable staff. Good bar. We have been enjoying the brunch items at Agustin Kitchen for two years now. From the mesquite pancakes, various egg benedict offering to the skillet. You can choose to eat on the patio or inside.

I heard about this place and meant to visit a long time ago. When some colleagues suggested it last week at the last minute I was all game. It turned out to be a cool, little spot. Service was on point and the food and drinks were quite good. It is a bit on the pricier side but I think it is worth it. Will definitely be back!

Great location with lots going on over the weekend. Come early and walk around the other businesses. Grab a drink at the bar if not dinner. Dinner is good across the board. Overall very enjoyable.

Food was good. Well done burger came well done. Fries were decent but not exceptional. Price was a little high for what you get. $18 for a burger and fries. We had lunch menu; I hear dinner is better.
