Agu Ramen

Great place to have a Ramen experience. The atmosphere is very casual and the service was attentive and the waitress answered all my questions and helped me navigate the menu . I like my ramen hot and level 3 was perfect .

This ramen joint is amazing. My wife & I along with a couple of friends ate here after an afternoon at Karbach since it is relatively close and we all loved Agu. The style of ramen seems more authentic which to some may mean that it is a tad on the rich (fatty) side, but in terms of levels of spice to choose from and variety of options this hit the spot for all parties!

Good food...butLOTS of their food has MSG. The waiter said it's because they are an Asian restaurant. For the food I could actually eat (allergic to MSG), it was very good. But.....very very very slow.

Me and my husband passed by here and was wondering why we never went here before. We were helped by a girl name Iya ( She has a Japanese name ) she was very friendly and helpful. The food is so amazing! It definitely hits the spot for a cold evening. We got the dumplings, and ramen for both of us. The broth is so warm and rich, full of flavor. Definitely will be back for some more goodness !!

I tried almost all of the options on the menu. They have nice ramens for sure. The donburis are plenty. I was expecting more out of the karaage one, good but rustic. I think that a bit of marinated ginger and teriyaki sauce with karashi wiil be a good idea.Lot of Currys (I would love to have more Currys too) more of everything to be honest especially donburis! Good place to go eat.Minus one star only for the spicy options, they bring you the spices (2 different kinds) and you mix it yourself. I kind of understand why they do it, but I would prefer to have a spiciness level out of the box. (I am being lazy😋)

I’ve been here three times the past 2 years. Sad to say every time I went the service is so slow. Not the servers fault they are sweet but the place is short staffed. Tried to give them another shot thinking it might be a fluke but it’s always the same. Ramen is okay but overpriced. Ramen Tatsuya in Montrose is way better overall and it comes out quick. Ramen shouldn’t take so long to come out...

Amazing! The pork-belly ramen is amazing. Ask for it spicy if you dare.

Pretty standard dishes, everything we tried so far was ok compared to other places.

The food was pretty good but if you order a soft drink it comes in a plastic bottle which is a huge turn off. Won't be back unless they stop their excessive use of plastic.

This was my original 'go to' Ramen place when AGU first opened up in Houston. When my job took me to the Sugar Land area, I also frequented the AGU Ramen restaurant there as well (I still do on the weekends, since I live in the Sugar Land area). In both places, the staff is very attentive and friendly, I've never had a bad experience there, and the Ramen bowls are always perfectly made. Dessert and other entrees there are also something to try and enjoy as well.

Best Ramen !!! Very delicious. Staff is very nice and friendly, would get 5 stars if they offered fountain drinks. I usually finish my bottled soda before my Ramen gets there but i can over look that because the food is so good !!! Also the levels on spicy is very awesome i usually get a level 3 and its perfect. They have a level for everyone.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and delicious food. Seaweed salad and poke bowl was amazing! Nice bar with a couple TV's for sports. Easy access from I-10 and Washington. Try it!

The food was very flavorful. Perfect stop for lunch.

This place is my favorite restaurant. Of all restaurants I know I prefere it most. I never miss an opportunity to go to visit this restaurant. when I want to go to a good supper, this place comes immediately to my mind. superb and food and a rich menu.courteous staff members, and good mood. And very important, the expence is decent. I sent my friends to this spot with no doubt.

Not your typical Asian restaurant atmosphere. Much more of a grill and bar type feel. A little pricey comparably but worth the price
