Had a really great time at the bar, interacting with other people and the bartender kept us so entertained.

Really impressed with the ingredients, quick service, fair prices, and tasty food. Shrimp tacos...YUMMY! Quacamole bowl was really good. We had lunch and family friendly.

An amazing experience with an expert chef behind the cuisine. You taste the thought, heart, and love in the dishes. Good for the soul! Staff is excellent, caring, and fun. Absolutely love the tacos, , tamales, and enchiladas! The sauces are to die for! We can’t believe we found this gem of a restaurant! So glad we did!

A fancy Mexican restaurant. Food is good. Dont expect simple tacos and burritos. They also have a nice tequila bar. Definitely call ahead, if you walk in you may not get a table.

Had the great experience to spend the Super bowl with Agave's inaugural SuperBowl party. They had a chili, taco buffet that was amazing. You had pork, beef, chicken and shrimp protein and all the fixing for tacos. You also had the opportunity to make all sorts of great nachos. They made a lot of chili that was exceptional. Thanks to John, Conan, Steve and all the crew for such a great night. Hope it continues next year.

The food and drinks here are to die for, Walter made us Passion fruit Cahipiriñas and they were so delicious. He was very attentive and friendly. It even made us come for a second time! If you are looking for a fun bar with delicious food, drinks, and a friendly bartender Agave Roja is the place to go!

Very nice cozy place, friendly staff. Had vegetable enchiladas and vegetarian tacos, very tasty tempeh. Fresh salsa, decent size portions.

Stopped in for lunch today after touring around Duck and Corolla. GREAT FOOD, GREAT waiter! Burrito was HUGE. served with side of rice and beans for the table to share. These are unlimited sides! Waiter suggested making reservations if we come back during the week for dinner, as they are busy. Absolutely loved this place! Very happy I live locally and can come back regularly!

We've been here 5 or 6 times, and every time the food and staff have been amazing. The ribs and fajitas are fantastic. And do yourself a favor and get their cucumber and jalapeño margarita. They'll make it as spicy as you want, and it's delicious. Conan is a great bartender, and is always friendly and welcoming!

Top rated restaurant in Corolla for a reason!! Quality of the food is top notch, very flavorful and with just the right amount of spice. We enjoyed the mussels and the pork enchilada (pictured). Portions are fantastic!! We also ordered a margarita, and yum yum yum...Service was really good, even with a full restaurant!!Do not miss this spot on your next OBX visit!!

Great food & drinks. Shrimp tacos were very tasty. Shrimp & mango & habanero are a great combination. Grilled Mexican corn on the cob was good too.

Agave Roja is a must on the OBX. Great food, great drinks, fun environment.
