Agave Mexican Grill

Steak Mexicano was delicious and my buddy had the loaded nachos, steak, chicken and shrimp all on one nacho!

It was not a bad TexMex restaurant. The service was good and it was very clean. Being in town from Texas my wife and I were missing a good Mexican meal and we were steered there. There wasn't a lot of spice or flavor to it. It was good safe Anericanized unseasoned fair as was the rice. Not bad mind you just not Mexican or even TexMex. Y'all can add all the hot sauce in the world after the fact but it does not make up for bland. Someone needs to get them a spice rack and some real peppers and other authentic ingredients.

It was not the greatest, but I've been pretty spoiled with decent Mexican food. The fried beans were a different color, but tasted like fried beans. There was an odd texture to the chips, but they weren't bad. I loved how the salsa was served and the portions were pretty good. Friendly staff. Clean. Would consider going back, but wouldn't be my first choice.
