The food here is always delicious and you can tell a lot of care was taken to prepare it. The atmosphere is warm and friendly. Such a nice spot for a relaxing meal. The staff and service is great. If you’re looking to branch out and try some different cuisine I can’t recommend this place enough. There are tons of vegetarian/vegan options as well. We are so lucky to have a place like Ada’s in Asbury.

Great Ethopian dishes and now I've tried the Dominican food too; amazing! Ada takes pride in the food she serves and is surprisingly accessible to her guest. She greets you, thanks you for coming in and genuinely cares if you are enjoying your meal. I would say its like "coming home for Sunday dinner."Gonz

Best food I have eaten! I have known Ada since she was in West Long Branch. I have never tasted Ethiopian food as good as hers, and I look to the upcoming years for more. I highly recommend it.

Questions & Answers

She is closed for the New Year. She will reopen on January 5th.

Yes, Ada is the owner and cook. If you have any allergies, she always adjusted things for you. That being said, she does have set menu items that are gluten free, such as injera. Always ask before ordering. If you are vegan, they steer you to the salads minus the feta.

No

Do specify that you need that, but injera uses a type of sorghum. Sorghum has no gluten, so that's an option, but, she does prepare foods with other flours that likely include gluten, so, the possibility for minimal gluten "cross-contamination" exists, honestly. Therefore, if you know you react poorly to gluten, even when present in small amounts, you may meed to approach almost all food, honestly, but Ada's very carefully. If you can tolerate some potential exposure, you will lilely be fine--your mileage may vary!!!
