Authentic Japanese cuisine in a comfortable space with low lighting and walls and curtains between seats for semi-privacy. Service was excellent with the waitress coming over many times to check, food was delicious - and while the fish and other items from the grill are the specialty, I also recommend the noodles in the hot pot. My main issue was that every item on the menu was about 1.5 times the price that I thought it should be for the portion size, even for Manhattan. I know...real estate prices, wages, and imported products.

I came back here for the winter restaurant week, the food is good, I think they can do better. The service is fine too.

Stumbled upon this place while walking to catch my train... glad I ran in for one hell of a meal! Definitely recommend this spot - nothing bad to say about any of my dishes!
