Absolutely Chinese Restaurant

I like to go with friends to this place with my highest recommendations. I go their often. This recommendation is always successful. The meals are fantastic and the crew is efficient and cooperative. Whenever we eat in this place we pass a cheerful evening. I warmly recommend this restaurant.

Good food and good service 😄

Hated every bite from egg roll/spring roll to sweet & sour chicken. I ordered vegetable fried rice, spring rolls, sweet/sour chicken and egg drop soup...soup no flavor, rice bland, pale, flavorless and dry, chicken too hard, dried out, overcooked, spring rolls...not tasty...bland. I eat Chinese food frequently... I've traveled China...this is bad American Chinese and I can't imagine they could prepare native traditional Chinese cuisine.

I absolutely love this restaurant. You are always greeted with a warm smile and they have that real "mom-and-pop" feel to the establishment. On top of that, the food is always tasty and fresh. I also love the all you can eat lunch buffet. They are a real home-town staple in Palatine!

Ab Chi is always great for take out or eat in. I am likely biased since my family has ordered from there for as long as i can remember when a child, but into adulthood I'm still a fan (they've been in the area for at least 20 years off the top of my memory).While the restaurant may be a little dated itself, who cares! The staff is very friendly and sociable, they're very quick with service, pricing is affordable, and the food is fantastic.Pot stickers & Egg Rolls are always my favorite part.

If you look up cheap Chinese in a dictionary, you might see a picture of this place.... now I was there for lunch ( buffet) so dinner might be slightly better.... and here is my impression: food had low quality ingredients, sauce was too oily and really tasted cheap... basically rge ate many better Chinese places around, and even if you have to drive extra 10-15 min, I would recommend you to skip this place..
