It’s a deli and restaurant you can eat in or take out it’s the most delicious authentic Italian food. Have you ever been to an Italian buffet? This place is amazing the staff is very friendly and professional meaning fast. This is a diamond in the rough, if you haven’t been to taste of Italy you need to go!

First time there for me and my 2 friends. We were in awe of the huge menu. We all loved what we ordered. Leftovers in the fridge! YUM

A very pleasant surprise for a NY Italian migrated to NC. Great lunch sandwiches and italian cookies. One of the best pignoli cookies! Nice little deli section also.

A top 5 of wilmington breakfest sandwichs. I have not had anything else on their menu. I have lived in wilmington for most of my life and taste of italy is a staple for the city. Everytime i place a order it gets made quick and is absolutley delicious! Check it out! A must have!

Excellent service n selection of some common n hard to find Italian favorites. Chic Parmesan WEDGE was only 8" but PACKED with chic cutlets - a hearty meal for a fair price and delicious! Nice selection of take to bake meals, too. Good Boars Head selection and canned / jarred Italian grocery. And... cookies yes, delicious.

My son's and I live this place. When I walk in I feel like I'm in Brooklyn NY.

Very good authentic Italian food

This place is exactly what I have been looking for. The food is amazing. Im very hard to please when it comes to Italian food. I even bought some sauce instead of making my own and don't leave with out the parmesan cheese. The service is awesome too. If you haven't been here you are missing out.

The best Italian deli in town.

It has been my home away from home since I moved from Long Island 15 years ago. Excellent staff and the food is absolutely awesome! Nobody in Wilmington can compare.

I just had a knee replacement. Friends have been sending dinners. Tonight one of my friends stopped by a Taste of Italy. WOW!!! It was absolutely amazing. Huge meatballs, delicious spaghetti, salad , and Italian cookies. It was todie for. I hadn’t been eating well but I couldn’t get enough of this. My husband and I are looking forward to becoming customers now. We will be back
