*15 min on the tarmac every time* No smoking area once your past security so if your connecting forget about it. Your waiting.*Connecting flight gates are always very far apart. Unless you have a long layover prepare to run.*Once you get to your gate if you have a long layover good luck finding an outlet. Not too many.* Shopping and food are decent. WiFi is great. But that's not enough to make a good airport. If I can pay more to connect elsewhere I always do! Frustrating for an international airport. Aren't these no brainers??!

Terminal C to E is a serious walk but you will not be bored. Shops and restaurants everywhere.

The airport itself is nice. It has a lot of restaurants and shops, and I love the rocking chairs. Be aware that if you are picking up your bags at baggage claim it will take FOREVER. And you need to check the screen often as the location of your correct baggage claim location may change. Also, if you are flying out of the dreaded E terminal, you will definitely get your steps in.

Very quiet place, no line at the Chick-fil-a.

This airport is the Mecca for people who like those moving floor escalators. They are everywhere! You don’t need to walk but three steps and you’re halfway across the airport. 10/10 felt like I was at Disney land.

Beautiful airport. Lots of very affordable dining options here. I definitely don't mind having a connecting flight here.

Very nice airport. I am impressed with the precautions made for COVID-19!

This is one of the most straight forward airports I have ever been to. Everything is really close and easy to find. I got to Charlotte early and had to wait for my friend to get here and was able to find her gate and wait by it easy. Outlets everywhere and food and drinks everywhere. Also free wifi so you can surf the net and kill time. No complaints here.

Poorly configured airport for post-9/11. Greater emphasis on retail than on space for people trying to move from one terminal to the next. Lots of turns and junctions that narrow too much and thus impede flow. Passengers moving from one terminal to the next crash into people coming out of the security checkpoints. Moving sidewalk placement actually impedes flow instead of enhancing it. Would make more sense placing them in the middle of the corridor, or have the counter-moving walkways placed along the corresponding walls. Gates are far too small for the number of passengers waiting to board flights. At the gate...B2...can barely hear the announcements though I was standing directly below a speaker.

distance between terminals is terrible. My flight landed in terminal E, with connecting flight in terminal B. The walk was fifteen minutes. There a a lot of shopping and food options but they are all very expensive and crowded! The staff was friendly and professional, however, which was very appreciated. It was also easy to navigate, despite the long walk.

Very pretty airport. White rocky chairs all over which is so comfy.A lot of variety of food. Chargers everywhere.Beware that it is big and may take 10-15 minutes to go to another terminal if you have a connecting flight.

Nothing like arriving and a gate is not prepared for the plane. Had to wait on the tarmac for 15 minutes for one to become available and then had to run to meet my connection. Made it but everyone had already boarded and had to wait while I found a place to put my carry-on. Not a pleasant experience at all. I'm sure the airport can do better

Security and tsa were very rude.not just one.its was the major majority. I asked a security man for directions and he told me to get away.i had mask he had mask and gloves behind a desk.i stepped back and had to exit airport and go through whole security again.back to being talked to like a dog there.if they dont want to work stay home im sure rheres many others who would be happy to take their place

I’ve never had a worse experience at an airport then at Charlotte and I’ve traveled all my life. The construction at the Charlotte airport has people going on “10 minute walks” to their next gate. That is no 10 minute walk... it’s more like a 30 minute walk and exhausting!! They don’t have people movers except for men driving wheelchairs around for the disabled.

Well, some food courts are open and thats great. I think management has reduced the amount of trash cans making it farther to go to get rid of used cups (don't carry trash to the boarding gate).
