Heard a lot of great things about Pig in a Fur Coat before I went, and I was not disappointed! First off, definitely get the duck fat fries. Repeating once more for the folks in the back: DEFINITELY GET THE DUCK FAT FRIES. Other than that, the place is a shareable plate/tapas restaurant, so order a lot and share everything! I went with my significant other, and we got the octopus and pork belly for small plates and the rabbit for our large plate. Everything was perfectly cooked, perfectly seasoned, and packed with flavor. Overall we got five dishes to share (3 plates, 1 duck fat fries, 1 dessert) and it was the perfect amount of food for two people. Be cautioned though, plus two drinks easily put us over $100 for the meal, but the food is definitely worth the price.

People always say nothing is perfect. If there is one, it must be there. This little restaurant is the best I have ever visited in the USA. Although there are many Michelin-starred restaurant in the US, but this is what I feel should called a real restaurant. The food are just perfect, waitresses and waiters are super friendly, the atmosphere is elegant and warm, people all enjoying their food. Can’t wait to come here again!

We arrived when it opened so it was nice and quiet compared to other reviews. Service was fairly quick. We ordered 2 apps and large plates. I have to say it was a lot of food. The pork chop and wagyu ribeye did not disappoint at all. Couldn't finish them so we packed them to go. Overall, it's worth checking out if you don't mind spending a bit more.

Very happy to stumble upon this place. I had dinner at the bar. Bartender helped pair a good red wine with me food. I really don't know what to say, just look at those pictures and go try this place for yourself. It was very good. The restaurant is cozy and good for a quiet dinner with good company. Loved it.

Questions & Answers

Hi Kayla! We are happy to have kids in the restaurant, we don't have a kid menu but we can make off menu items like buttered pasta.

We do! Everything Jesse mentioned is correct, while we have plenty of options on our menu we are also happy to make off menu items. Thank you for asking!

I would call it neither Mediterranean nor French, just incredibly eclectic foodie.
