A Fish Called Avalon

A FISH called Avalon is located on Collins Avenue in the heart of South Beach. The food is terrific. The Paella is very tasty as well as the tuna tartar.

If you arrived in the evening for dinner, you can find a talented pianist dishing up a few beautiful songs on the piano. Simply brilliant!

You need to try this restaurant! The food is exquisite and the service is unbeatable. Volker was our server and I must say, I have never experienced better service. You would think based on the food and the location and the service and the ambiance of the restaurant that it would be quite expensive, but it's not! It is very reasonable and you definitely get more than your money's worth. If you want to experience the best of South Beach dining then I highly recommend A Fish Called Avalon!!!

The food was excellent!! Served hot, flavorful and the service and atmosphere was phenomenal. My Chilean sea bass was divine!! Everyone at our table were thoroughly satisfied and we were a table of 12!!! Wonderful place for a date night. Our waiter, Gane, was very welcoming, patient and pleasant.

This is a fantastic gourmet seafood restaurant! If you are a foodie, you will love this place. My server was Victor. He was very attentive and a pleasure to meet. In fact, the entire staff are professionals. World-class service. I ordered the mussels and sesame seared tuna which were simply amazing (not to mention their very tasty hot, homemade bread). The live flamenco music was the perfect compliment. Well worth the premium price. Highly recommended!

What a fun dining experience! We were a party of four and between the food. Wine. Ambience we were in heaven. We sat on the patio and were entertained by the crowds walking by. The music was fantastic too. Think Gypsy Kings. If you want great Seafood. Come here!

Awesome Environment. Great Service, Professional Staff, and Great Food!

Five stars isn’t enough. We are from the Midwest and did a weekend getaway here and my (now) husband proposed. We ended up eating here twice because it was so delicious and both got seafood risotto both times. A few months ago for my birthday my husband surprised me by calling the restaurant and getting the recipe to make it for me. The restaurant and managers and head chef just went above and beyond. They even emailed my husband and asked how it went! Major props to them! Also when we ate there we had the same waiter both times and he was so wonderful. Could not say enough good things about this place.Olga

Service was on point. A dou covered the whole inside that was packed with large parties. Didn't miss a best and was super on top of service. Food was fresh and delicious

This is a 10 star place!!! My mother and I recently ate here after the hotel concierge recommended dinner here. We were on vacation and from the Midwest. A Fish Called Avalon was above our expectations and beyond amazing. The restaurant was beautiful inside. Still in the heart of the liveliness of the street scene the restaurant offered dining outside if you desired or a comfortable, quieter option with candlelit tables. The classy live music was tasteful and complimented the elegant meal. The food was fresh and served extraordinarily. The array of items on the menu did not compare to the other restaurants on the Main Street- the only restaurant with fresh seafood options galore. Our waitress Marta was kinda and helpful. She was not pushy, but recommended some very yummy starters as well as specials from the full bar. If you are looking for an extremely sophisticated yet amazing dining experience- THIS is the place to go!!!!

OMG.... what a restaurant!!! We went twice for the 4 days we stayed in Miami beach!! Everything we tried was delicious.... and the stuff was extraordinary!!! I'm really dreaming of the next time I'll be back... Congratulation guys!! Keep going!!!

Incredible! My glass was never less than half full and I never ever had to chase down my waiter. The service was fantastic. The lobster bisque was SO good too. Definitely recommend this place.

This is one of the best burgers in LA, Whatever we had, starters, salads, burgers were amazing. I'm still thinking of the chips with cheddar and bacon sauce. All the dishes we had were very very good. Try it for sure.
