Our visit was a positive visit with a few glitches. I believe the wait list can be handled better since they only call out names and you can hardly hear them sometimes because it's a busy area. Service was decent, they were very accommodating (we originally sat outside and it was cold, so they allowed us to move inside to finish our meal). The lobster experience was fantastic. All around a great place.

Very good! Great great location! Delicious fresh seafood! 5* quality and location but... price is quite high - understandable - but pretty much a turist trap. Worth it!

Must stop in Bar Harbor. Great longtime standard for seafood and atmosphere. Careful dining too late the food dwindles in quality. Still a lot of fun on the water.

I had the most delicious salmon ever!!! My husband had a burger that was great! The service was very good and our waiter was pleasant and attentive. We certainly would recommend a visit to Stewman's😉

There were a lot of restaurants to choose from in downtown bar harbor Maine, but we randomly chose Stewman’s and it did not disappoint.We had the lobster experience and a crispy full clams. It was so delicious. The lobster experience came with lobster, corn, clam chowder, mussels, and blueberry pie. The crispy clams was full and juicy. We had so much to eat, we had to do take out for the blueberry pie. The outdoor seating and view were amazing. We had such a great time. The lobster was so sweet and juicy ; we went back the second time and double down on the lobster.

Came back again after a positive experience for the full lobster meal. Served with clam chowder, a full lobster with mussels, corn on the cob and potatoes, followed by blueberry pie for dessert, it’s a great option if you’re up for the local fare and getting your hands a little dirty. The service is great, and if the view is good you can sit out on the water but their dining room is nice for colder or rainy days.

Great place to eat right on the water. The lobster experience is a full 3 course meal for a very reasonable price. Plus the food was excellent. My only complaint is that if you are eating with kids be prepared that the kids meals are pricey even for something as simple as (what looks like boxed) mac and cheese.
