Always have a good meal there. The Peking duck is exquisite. I do wish the place was a bit more serviced. Like the tables cleaner and condiments filled. No soy sauce on the table, really? That said food was well presented, hot and tasty. Btw, I really hate picture menus.. just saying. Plus the hand edits on a picture menu are absurd. Otherwise, it's my go to for Asian food in Philadelphia.

Excellent duck. Tasted exactly like the duck I remember from Boston's Chinatown!

A member of staff at our hotel recommended this restaurant. It was amazing. A traditional Chinese restaurant where the only thing that is fancy is the food. The portions are huge (Brits beware) we ordered way too much but every course was delicious. The staff were attentive and friendly. It goes without saying next time we are in Philadelphia we will return. If you like authentic Chinese food you gotta give it a go.

Whenever I look for top restaurants to eat in Chinatown, Sang Kee is always one of the top. It's a great option for authentic Chinese Cantonese food. They also have their own takes on Korean and Japanese dishes.5 stars for service, staff, speed, and food quality.

I do not give many 5 star ratings but this doggone place is superb from start to finish. I was in Philly for a conference and was on a mission for some peking duck so of course I looked for an Asian restaurant district. I used Google but literally walked around the entire neighborhood to scout out which of the reviews were the lost legit. This was the winner duck dinner! It was nice and crispy on the outside but juicy in the inside and was serves with those savory thin pancakes. The hubby got lamb chops that I wanted to lick off the bone but that would have been rude and I’m a lady (in public). We also got the green panfries dumplings 🥟 I forgot what they are called but point to my picture and the staff can surely help you out. Everything was bomb 💣!!! It even cane with 2 free scoops of ice cream to cap the meal off. âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸If i lived here I’d be fat 🤰ðŸ¾

Went in and ordered a duck. It came fast, the portion was huge, but i got to my car parked outside the restaurant to taste it and it was cold. why would i want a cold duck?!? when i got home and heated it up, it was delicious, but I’ve had better. maybe if they serve hot food, it would taste better. I’m going back to the other place from now on since they serve the duck hot.

Have always heard good things about this place but never went so planned an outing for Chinese New Year and it didn't disappoint. Everything we had tasted very fresh and filling. Since it was a large group of us and this place was so affordable, we ordered a bunch of different appetizers - chicken and veggie spring rolls, soup dumplings, rock shrimp and calamari - all were so good and filling. For my entree, I ordered Shrimp Lo Mein. But after eating all the different appetizers, I could barely eat even a quarter of my food (which served well for lunch the next day). Again, the place was so affordable that after ordering at least 6 different appetizers, with an entree and drinks, the bill only came to about $35/person.Have already ordered takeout from here and plan to come eat here again. Highly recommend

One of my favorite places to eat in Chinatown. Great wonton noodle soup, rice platters fried dumplings and always some new specials on the menu. Service is always pretty fast.Cash only but I believe there’s an ATM inside now.Street parking is somewhat hard to find nearby but there’s always the paid parking lot right across the street.

First served warm green tea. The lunch special was affordable and a big enough portion that I had leftovers. Very good food.

Always generous portions! Delicious and fresh food! Usually crowded so prepare to wait. Nice waitstaff but very busy. Asians eat here so it must be good!
