Roti Italian Bistro

Service was great, the appetizers were good and the pasta dishes that my partner's had were good, but the lamb was terrible. Tough, gamey and not what was expected... would pass on the lamb. There were 6 that went for dinner and 3 had the lamb, it was the same for all 3 so it wasnt a one off bad serving, it was across the board

Love love this place. My friend and I had just finished watching a movie, and afterwards was in the mood for some super delicious Italian. Google suggested Vespucci, couple blocks away from the theater. When we got there, although we did not have reservations, the hostess managed to find a table for us. Oh I'm so glad she did. I had the spinach ravioli, preceded by a simple yet tasty greens salad in balsamic dressing. The ravioli was so delicious, having that homemade gourmet taste to it. Finished every bit of it. And the service, you almost feel that authentic atmosphere, the warm and cozy that is Italy, and I've been there. Definitely one of my favorite Italian restaurants, a must go if you love Italian.

This place is unbelievable. Authentic Italian. Almost always Manuela and Francesco (the husband/wife owners) serve all tables. That personal touch is hard to find nowadays...but the food is unreal too, of course critical for a restaurant. Quiet atmosphere, amazing ambiance, delicious food, and wonderful hosts. What more could you ask for?!?!

The food was very delicious, and dessert was soooo awesome. Everyone there is lovely, especially Emmanuella. She genuinely connects with you and you can tell how much she cares about providing good service.

Delicious homemade pasta! Friendly wait staff, and who I assumed is the owner came by a couple of times to make sure everything was okay, and chatted with us about the food. Great place!

This place was like stepping into Italy itself! Very bright, clean, exciting atmosphere. Perfect temperature and volume level of music. Once you entered, the owners greet you and seat you right away. Service was quick and everyone there knew the menu options very well! My party and I decided to try a range of different dishes! Their homemade pasta was delicious! This is the best place to eat Italian any day of the week. Sauces were flavourful and tasted fresh. They make pasta daily and if it runs out they don’t sell it. This ensure quality is at its best! Seafood pasta, lasagna, wild boar, and the lamb was spectacular. Would recommend to anyone looking to take a step into Italy right in the heart of San Mateo.
