River View Restaurant & Lounge

Stopped in at 1130 coming back from the water terminal. Food was perfectly fine, super nice folks and pretty cool interiors.Also drove by because we weren’t sure being visitors from Toronto. But 100% do this place late night instead of fast food. They are pretty well priced & for the time of night the food was good.4/5**** because the bacon I got was super tough, lol but can’t complain to much cause the rest was good for 1130pm on a Thursday night

Fabulous Diner. Friendly people. Great food. breakfast prices 10 to 12 dollars for omelets. Home fries are great. Coleslaw and pickle are great. If I lived in area would definitely go back. Lots of options on menu.

One of the best diners I’ve ever been to in my life. Exceptional food generous portions, and optimal quality and service. The owner is a wonderfully nice and friendly man. Everything I have had there is great. There deserts are large, very pleasing to the eye, and exceptional.

Great classic Greek diner. Everything was delicious, staff super friendly, and price is right. Can't wait to go back.

The food was bad, but customer service was excellent. Our waiter was very nice and pleasant. I didn't mind tipping since i knew the food wasn't his fault.

Best diner. I have been going to this diner for over 10 years. I’ve seen two renovations and watched the young girls grow up. The eggs and waffles are always cooked to order and very tasty. My favorite is the grilled cheese with ham and pea soup for lunch. My mother likes to eat very late so we normally go to the diner when she visits. She has never had a bad thing to say about her meals. She always orders a fish. (My parents go on world cruises so that’s saying something about the food) I will get an avocado salad or chicken parmigiana with spaghetti. Now, it isn’t your mom‘s homemade sauce but it’s pretty good and the chicken was tender. I’ve also ordered wine not bad. Other people in their other reviews have said that this place is expensive for a diner but look where you are. Lastly, the staff is really nice they know us very well.

Great parking, very friendly stuff, big menu with all typical diner items and some house inventions. Never had to wait for a table. The tables and booths are in new like condition. Egg Benedict is very good.

I took the family here for lunch after seeing the Bishop at church in Queens. Yes! We came back from Queens to eat here. Food is always good, parking seems plentiful and the view of NYC driving here is amazing.
